Motion”

“Motion” is an artistic encapsulation of kinetic energy and physical laws, visualized through the journey of a bouncing ball. In this work, Beas uses acrylics to masterfully depict the interplay of forces acting on the ball – the compression energy on rebound, gravity’s pull, the trajectory, and its velocity. The painting is a study in movement and energy, capturing each bounce, twist, and turn in a series of vibrant, abstract shapes and lines. By transforming a common, everyday action into an engaging visual narrative, Beas invites the viewer to ponder the complexity and beauty of motion in the physical world. “Motion” not only represents the phenomenon of movement but also acts as a metaphor for the forces and paths shaping the natural world, making it a profound fusion of art and physics.
